Entune Now Available in the 2012 Toyota 4Runner

For five generations and 27 years, the Toyota 4Runner has remained a rugged favorite in the Toyota lineup. And this year, drivers can still get the dependability of one of America's favorite SUVs, along with a handful of tech and convenience upgrades.

In the 2012 model year, Toyota will make their Entune system available across all 4Runner trim levels. Entune connects to the driver's cell phone via Bluetooth or USB and integrates a collection of mobile apps and data services. Some examples of Entune mobile apps include Bing, iHeartRadio, MovieTickets.com, Opentable and even Pandora. Using voice recognition or vehicle controls, drivers can also get updates on sports scores, stock info, local traffic guides, fuel prices and weather conditions.

Don't worry though, Toyota didn't make room for all of this new stuff by removing previous-gen technology favorites. Returning features include Sirius XM Satellite Radio; HD Radio, featuring iTunes tagging, text/e-mail to speech and navigation. Plus, in this model, these features are integrated into the new display-type audio system.

The 2012 Toyota 4Runner is set to arrive at dealers like, Hanford Toyota Scion any day now.
